WHERE TO WATCH – SBS, LIVE SITES, OPTUS SPORT
There are a number of ways punters can immerse themselves in the colour of the World Cup in Russia including catching the action on traditional broadcaster SBS, TAB operated live sites and of course the Optus Sport app.
The Optus Sport app is the place to catch every game live of the FIFA World Cup. Not only will you be able to watch every match but there is a heap of news and highlights packages every day so you won’t miss a second of the action.
SBS – TV AND RADIO
Australians have traditionally tuned in to the national broadcaster to watch the World Cup since the early days of Les Murray, Johnny Warren and Andy Paschalidis. This time around, Lucy Zelic and Craig Foster spearhead the coverage with the legendary Martin Tyler to once again be the voice of the World Cup for aussies.
SBS will televise 25 premium games throughout the tournament in partnership with Optus Sport while SBS Radio has most of the games covered in Russia.
Every one of the Socceroos games will be televised live.

TAB has teamed up with Optus Sport to televise every game of the World Cup live throughout their agencies.
A number of TABs will be open throughout the tournament in Russia and they will be the only place where you can bet live on the matches without having to use your phone.
Essentially, if you don’t have Optus, then these TABs are the only place that will have every game covered.
Some of these live sites include The Star, Club Marconi and Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL in NSW while in Victoria, Crown Casino will be a key destination as will Zagames Boronia Hotel and Olympic Hotel just to name a few.
Check out TAB.com.au for all locations open during the World Cup.
