Sporting Life Preview

With Respect made a winning debut in testing ground at Newbury last year and is partnered by Oisin Murphy on his return. THE PERFECT CROWN hasn’t raced since February but finished third in a Listed race over track and trip on that occasion having earlier romped home by a wide-margin at Chelmsford. Rated 96, Archie Watson’s colt is the one to beat in this. The more exposed Aroha has a shout on these terms but was a beaten favourite at Catterick on her reappearance while Miss Mulligan and Rocky Dreams look the most likely improvers of the remainder.

oddschecker Verdict

Rocky Dreams shaped with an abundance of promise when fourth over 6f here on debut and is expected to take closer order for the Richard Hannon team now granted this additional furlong, though preference is for WITH RESPECT. Hughie Morrison's charge impressed when striking on bottomless ground on debut at Newbury last term and looked an exciting prospect with potential Patten, if not Classic, aspirations. The Perfect Crown ran well in Listed company last time and could also take a hand.

Prediction: 1st With Respect, 2nd The Perfect Crown, 3rd Rocky Dreams
