KOLIATH DE COUELY was narrowly denied on his only start over hurdles in France last June and subsequently bought by current connections for 150,000 euro. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market while Goldenkap, a half-brother to six winners including the smart Gold Tweet, is another to note. Lilac Lady was third in this corresponding race 12 months ago and has also been placed here on her latest two starts, including when reappearing over C&D last month. Hopeful Hero and point-to-point winner Killowen House, placed behind the long odds-on Doctor Du Mesnil on his debut under Rules at Cork, are others to consider.
