With the second presidential debate fresh in the memory, Monday’s biggest bet is a £500 stake backing Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 U.S. election. Clinton’s odds have shortened over the weekend to best-price 2/7.
Interestingly, the second biggest bet of the day is a bet backing Republican candidate Donald Trump. He is now best-price 7/2 having been as short as 6/4 a fortnight ago and we’ve seen a bet of £400 on Trump this morning.
Bosnia host Cyprus tonight in a World Cup qualifier and are 2/7 to win the match. Belgium put paid to Bosnia on Friday whilst Cyprus suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Greece. The third biggest bet of the day is £350 on Bosnia to win this evening.
We have a tie for fourth place so firstly we’re off to Windsor for today’s racing and in particular the 14:00. Trick of The Light is the 2/1 favourite in this one and the 2-year-old has been backed by one punter with a £250 stake.
The other £250 bet today is on Donald Trump’s fellow Republican, Mike Pence. Following a weekend of allegations, leaked video footage and murmurings of Trump pulling out of the race, there has been increased backing of the vice presidential candidate. Pence was 300/1 a week ago and is now as short as 25/1 (best-price 66/1).
