Mo Salah scored another against Newcastle today to tie with Harry Kane as current top goalscorer.
In the last week, 67% of all bets have been placed on Salah to finish as the Premier League Top Goalscorer and having scored again today, the Egyptian has certainly put the pressure on Harry Kane.
Harry Kane had a rare off day in front of goal at home to Huddersfield and he now shares top spot with Salah on 24, whilst Sergio Aguero is on 21.
Kane is still odds on favourite, best priced at 8/11, whilst the value is with Salah as he is best priced at 11/4 with William Hill. The Spurs striker has still received strong support this week and 27% of all bets have been placed on the England international to land the prize.
Sergio Aguero is best priced at 11/2, but this could be drastically cut if he manages to bag against Chelsea on Sunday.
Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “Mo Salah has been incredible for Liverpool this season and it is no surprise that he has been well backed to beat Harry Kane to the golden boot. I wouldn’t rule out Aguero just yet whilst he is still 11/2 but either way, this one will more than likely go down to the wire.”
