It's now 1/40 that partner Aubameyang stays at Arsenal...
The past couple of days have seen reports of Juventus joining the running to sign Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Rumours have swept through the press that the Italian giants are willing to propose a player-plus-cash deal and are considering Gonzalo Higuain, Cristian Romero or Douglas Costa in the negotiations.
The deal between Arsenal and Atletico is said to be reliant upon the dependency of Arsenal’s captain, Aubameyang, committing his future to the North London club.
Aubameyang is currently odds-on as short as 1/40 to stay with Arsenal for the upcoming season, despite being in the cross-hairs of some of Europe’s best.
The bookies clearly think the Gabon international will be staying, so a move for Lacazette looks even more likely despite an impressive three years at the Gunners scoring 48 goals in 127 games.
A move back to France for Lacazette is also being offered by the bookies showing three clubs; Marseille (14/1), Lyon (16/1) and Monaco (16/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "First it was Aubameyang, now it's Arsenal's other striker Lacazette being linked with a move away from Arsenal in the upcoming transfer window.
"Positive news surrounding transfer talks with the former has seen increased interest in Lacazette's next club market, with 34% of all bets backing a move to Atletico Madrid."
