The first of today's movers is MEGARA. Successful twice at 2m on polytrack so far in his career, Sir Mark Prescott's 4yo finished fifth of six runners last time out over course and distance. Sent off the 9/4 favourite he finished 17l behind Wor Lass (who re-opposes today) in what was his first run after 197 days off the track. Punters are expecting better today with 7/4 now the best odds on offer from 3/1 overnight.
Next it's to Haydock where ROSIE BRIAR has been backed from 6/1 into 7/2 in places. Far from disgraced when fourth over 5f on debut at Windsor, it appears she is expected to build on that performance now stepped up in trip with the benefit of that run behind her.
Over in Ireland REDCLUE is now a strong favourite in the 16.55. The 7yo has a very good record at the track and if ignoring his two latest efforts could prove capable of better over fences and can gain another victory at the COunty Down venue. The market certainly suggests this could be the case, now a general 3/1, he was as big as 11/2 this morning.
Finally we're back to Newcastle where there has been money for YOUNG TIGER. Unplaced in both starts so far, he did at least improve on his debut effort when third of six in 5f Beverley maiden. 9/2 on first show last night, Tom Tate's charge is now as short as 11/4 with some firms.
