The first of today's movers is KISS THE WIND in the 17.35 at Dundalk. Unplaced in all three starts to date, Ger Lyons' 2yo was last seen finishing sixth of 18 at Leopardstown over 7f (good) in September. 10/3 with some firms this morning, she is now as short as 7/4 in places (best price 2/1).
Next it's to Kempton and their 17.25 where MODERN LIFE has been backed into favouritsm. David Elsworth's 2yo finished fifth of 10 at 40/1 on his racecourse debut at the same track last month and is entitled to build on that effort now stepped up in trip. Opening us as big as 9/1 last night, he's now into 10/3 in places (best price 4/1).
Up to Ayr we go for our third mover where the un-raced HERMANUS is now favourite for the closing bumper at 15.55. There's little to go on in regards to form in the race, but Keith Dalgleish's 4yo looks the part on breeding and her trainer has a decent record in this sphere. 5/1 last night, she's now the 11/4 favourite (best price 3/1).
Finally it's to Bangor where SMOOTH STEPPER has been backed at big prices in the 13.50. A winner of two hurdle races and a chase from 2m1f to 2m7f the 7yo was well beaten at 5/1 when fourth of 7 last time out at Ayr over 3m (good to soft) in April. Back from a break today, Sue Smith's charge has shortened from 14/1 overnight into 11/2 fav (best price 6/1).
