Magician wowed the judges and crowd with his emotional act and is the immediate front-runner.
The 12th series of Britain’s Got Talent got underway last night and with it came all the usual variety, tears, cheers and wow moments.
Since last night’s show has aired, bookies have installed the first Golden Buzzer act as favourite in these early stages.
Magician Marc Spellman impressed enough to get a fast-track straight to the live shows and bookies have decided to install the 46-year old as 8/1 best price favourite, despite a magician winning the show in 2016.
In the betting however, it is Calum Courtney who has received the most bets so far.
The 10-year-old has been a viral sensation before but has reached new levels of fame by singing Michael Jackson’s Who’s lovin’ you to a stunned crowd.
The youngster has been installed at 16/1 by one bookie, making him the current third favourite.
Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: “It has been interesting to see the early Britain’s Got Talent favourite being a magician, with a magician winning the competition two years ago. But Marc Spellman’s emotional audition has got everyone talking and he could well be a name to look out for.”
