Where do we go from here? How do we go on? Can we go on?

We’re back down to £20 after Albania didn’t read the script. In truth we should have seen it coming. We should have kept it simple with the France to nil selection we dismissed due to ‘lack of value’. We should have probably also put our money where our mouth was when it came to the Romania v Switzerland game too after correctly predicting the 1-1 draw.

We can’t continue to look back though. We’ve got three odds-on favourites to choose from in an attempt to get back on track and we simply MUST find a winner.

Although needing a play-off to qualify, Ukraine only conceded four times in their 10 group games. Combine that with the fact Northern Ireland weren’t exactly prolific in their qualifying group and that defeat for either side would effectively see them knocked out of the tournament, everything points towards a nervy, low scoring affair this afternoon.

With that in mind and having exhausted every other market in relation to all of the games we’re going for the Ukraine to win to nil option at 7/5.

Now for the stake. We’re not as confident with this selection as we have been with others and not wanting to end this challenge with a whimper we’re going with a tenner. At least this way, if/when Kyle Lafferty bangs one in for the Irish in the 89th minute, we’ll still have some funds to play with over the next few days.

Selection: Ukraine win to nil
