Phil Brown is the latest name linked with the managerial vacancy at Hull. Since the shock departure of Steve Bruce, several names have been linked with the role and with eight days to go until the start of the Premier League they are still yet to find a replacement.
This would be the second time that Brown has taken charge of Hull City. His first stint was ten years ago when he was appointed first-team coach and then become the joint-caretaker manager two months later. He led Hull to the Premier League and he kept them up in their first season. If you move quickly, some bookmakers currently have odds at 6/1 that Phil Brown will become the next manager.
If you’re not convinced by all this speculation, Chris Coleman is still the favourite for the role, Wales have denied them permission to speak to Coleman but sources do believe that they will have a second attempt in the near future.
If you had placed a bet on Brown to become the next Hull manager this morning, you would have got a humongous 50/1.
