Our football expert Ryan Elliott has picked out a treble for Tuesday's Bundesliga matches
Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich
With eight wins from their last 11 games against Dortmund, I’m leaning towards Bayern in their huge clash against Dortmund.
Hansi Flick’s men have all the know-how required to be Bundesliga champions, and an empty Signal Iduna Park will also play directly into their hands.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg
Leverkusen’s victory against Gladbach over the weekend was mightily impressive, and I fancy them to beat a miserly but goal-shy Wolfsburg outfit.
Peter Bosz has got his side playing some brilliant football—headed by the fantastic Kai Havertz—and judging by how Wolfsburg were just a little outclassed and outgunned by Dortmund on Saturday, it’s hard to see how they stop this rampant Leverkusen team.
Werder Bremen vs Borussia Monchengladback
Finally, I have Gladbach beating Werder Bremen on the road.
While Bremen secured a crucial win at Freiburg on Saturday, I still have little faith in their ability to repel a Gladbach side who 53 goals this season, particularly as they possess a defence who have shipped 59 goals themselves.
Bremen were soundly beaten in their last home games against Leverkusen, and a similarly convincing result is likely this time around.
