Two teams with decent wins at the weekend face off on Tuesday night at the Emirates. Arsenal won against Wolves, something that rarely happens these days, whilst Leicester were comfortable 3-0 victors against Crystal Palace. Mikel Arteta is getting a decent tune out of his side now with four wins on the bounce. The Gunners have scored 10 goals in that run and conceded just the once which is surprising given their general defensive performances this season. Reverting to a back 5 has helped them somewhat though and they do look more solid.

Leicester had been going through a sticky patch before their weekend win. Before that game they had won just two in ten but goals for striking duo Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho will have raised confidence levels at the King Power. They could well be without England pair Ben Chillwell and James Maddison for the trip south though and that will be a big blow to their chances. Replacements Christian Fuchs and Dennis Praet just aren’t on that same level in my opinion.

As far as the betting goes, some might find the 27/20 on Arsenal a bit short considering they’re playing a team above them. It’s a tricky one in the win draw win market as any result wouldn’t be a shock or a surprise. I do however envisage it opening up after the break and you can get some 21/20 on over 1.5 second-half goals. We’ve seen the first halves be relatively drab affairs but with the addition of the 5 substitute rule and the fatigue setting in with the quick turnaround in games then we could see late goals.

With Arsenal having their scoring boots on at the minute and the Foxes’ two frontmen on the scoresheet at the weekend we can hope for an entertaining and goal filled game.
