Football tips for Tuesday include a 10/1 Champions League treble, selected by expert Ryan Elliott.
Chelsea vs Sevilla - 20:00
At what’s a lovely price, I’m backing Sevilla to beat Chelsea.
The Spanish side, who are European specialists, have won two of their four league games this campaign (while also drawing away against Barcelona), while Chelsea have generally performed pretty poorly, and have won just one of their last four in the league.
Chelsea’s defensive issues could be exploited by this good Sevilla side (who will be boosted by Kepa looking likely to start), and at 14/5 the value is certainly with the away team.
PSG vs Man Utd - 20:00
I’m also backing PSG to beat Man Utd.
The French side have won their last five games (four coming by margins of at least two goals) while United, who have looked poor in a number of games this season, did recover well from their Spurs hammering by beating Newcastle.
However, the gulf in class (both of player and manager) between these two sides is vast, and with this competition being PSG’s ultimate priority, I’d be very surprised if they didn’t go out and beat United fairly handily.
Rennes vs Krasnodar - 20:00
Finally, I have Rennes beating Krasnodar.
The hosts are unbeaten in their opening seven Ligue 1 matches, scoring at least twice on five occasions, and this excellent start will serve them well in Europe.
As for Krasnodar, they’ve only managed to win just three of their last nine in the league, while picking up just one point from their last four away games, which is why Rennes are a strong fancy here.
