Gent v Hoffenheim - 17:55

First up, I’m very happy to back Hoffenheim against Gent.

The hosts have been terrible this season, losing six of their last seven games in all competitions, and an opening defeat to Slovan Liberec in this competition has set them off very poorly in Europe.

Hoffenheim beat Red Star 2-0 in their opener, and while they’re winless in three Bundesliga games, they still look like huge value to beat this poor Gent outfit on Thursday.

Hoffenheim - 1pt @ 21/20

Lille v Celtic -17:55

I also have Lille beating Celtic.

The French side are in fantastic form. Not only did they hammer Sparta Prague in their first Europa League game, but they’re unbeaten in Ligue 1, with five wins from their eight matches, which has seen them move into 2nd.

Celtic come into this on the back of poor results against Rangers, Milan and Aberdeen, and this lack of momentum will see them falter once again against this excellent Lille team.

Lille - 1pt @ 4/6

Slavia Prague v Bayer Leverkusen - 20:00

I finally like the look of Bayer Leverkusen beating Slavia Prague.

Leverkusen have won three games on-the-spin, and are unbeaten in their seven matches this campaign. Their opening Europa League match was also a brilliant 6-2 win against Nice.

Slavia have lost two of their last three matches, including a 3-1 defeat to Hapoel Beer Sheva in this competition.
