Man City vs Fulham - 15:00 - Saturday

It should be a relatively straightforward task for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City as they host Fulham, a team they have an excellent record against in recent years. The Cottagers will be buoyant though, an impressive performance and deserved 2-1 win at Leicester last time out will not doubt give Scott Parker’s side confidence. I’d expect them to approach this one in a similar manner with a number of players behind the ball and the pace of Ademola Lookman and Ivan Cavaleiro as the outlet.

City secured top spot in their Champions League group midweek with a 0-0 draw in Porto. It continued their exceptional defensive efforts, it’s now 7 clean sheets in their last 8. Pep should welcome back John Stones, Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne after resting them midweek so they should be at near full strength.

Where is the value?

The visitors have looked more solid at the back of late too with Joachim Andersen and former City centre half Tosin Adarabioyo beginning to gel at the heart of defence. It’s probably more likely that they don’t score than they do here though given the volume of clean sheets City are putting up.

The hosts are understanbly short at best price of 1/8, however we can get 3/4 on the home win and under 4.5 goals. Here we get a win ‘to nil’ on side up to 4-0 but also get the 2-1 and 3-1 correct scores on side if they do ship a rare goal.
