West Brom v Brighton - 15:00

Despite their utter heartbreak against Crystal Palace, I’m still backing Brighton to beat West Brom at the Hawthorns.

Brighton have won two of their last three away games in the league, and while their finishing has constantly let them down, their underlying data is still fantastic, and there’s no doubt they’re the stronger of the two sides on Saturday.

The Baggies have just two points from their last seven at home, scoring four and conceding 25, so considering the Seagulls are much better on the road than they are at home, backing them at evens to fulfil their potential (and data) looks a solid bet.

Brighton - 1pt @ 24/23

Newcastle v Wolves - 20:00

At a bigger price, I’m backing a draw in Newcastle vs Wolves.

The last four league games between these two have ended 1-1, and while Wolves are the better side this season, I’m still backing the Magpies to grind out a draw.

Nuno’s men have won just one of their last seven Premier League away games, and while Steve Bruce’s men have lost eight of their last 10 (with two wins from five), backing history to repeat itself for a 5th time at this large price is my play.

Wolves have failed to score in four of their last seven on the road, while Newcastle have scored in six of their last seven at St. James’, which is also encouraging.

Draw - 1pt @ 40/17
