Euro 2021 Prediction: Turkey vs Wales
- Wales have scored in 6 of their last 8 games.
- Turkey have seen both teams to score land in 8 of their last 13 games.
Euro 2020 Prediction: Both teams to score
There’s plenty riding on this game with both failing to get a win on the board in the first round. Turkey were desperately poor against Italy, they looked sluggish and rarely got out of their own half, deservedly losing 3-0 to the Azzurri in Rome. Wales were slightly fortunate to nick a point against Switzerland, they were on the back foot for the majority of the game.
Obviously the stakes get ramped up in the second and third games, the likelihood is that a win for either side he could see them get through. With plenty at stake for both sides my eyes were drawn to the chunky 5/4 on both teams to score. Although Turkey had a strong defensive record in qualifying, they’ve been much more erratic in the last year.
Both sides are likely to fancy their chances in the final third compared to the first games and with the likes of Gareth Bale and Kieffer Moore for Wales and Burak Yilmaz and Hakan Calhanoglu on the other side, goals look a touch underrated.
