  • Crystal Palace have conceded at least 2 goals in their last 5 away league matches.
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in 5 games in all competitions.

Betting Tip: Arsenal to win by exactly 1 goal

Monday Night Football comes from the Emirates as Arsenal host Crystal Palace. Both sides have shown signs of improvement after a slow start and it should be a competitive encounter. The hosts have been chalked up as comfy odds-on favourites though and that looks a bit too skinny for a side that haven’t wholly convinced under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners will have to be wary of Wilfred Zaha and co in transition, although under new manager Patrick Vieira the Eagles are looking to be more possession focused and working from the back. Vieira will no doubt receive a warm reception as he heads back to the club where he spent some fantastic years as a player and to be fair to him he has negotiated a pretty tricky run of fixtures and Palace have been good value for their recent points haul.

These are the games Arsenal are expected to win if they want to get back into Europe and although their outright price to win the match isn’t great we can get a chunky 13/5 on them to win by a 1 goal margin. A 1-0 or 2-1 scoreline would not surprise me here.
