West Ham vs Manchester City Stats

  • Manchester City have scored 9 goals in their last 2 away games.
  • West Ham have scored in all their home games this season.

Betting Tip: Manchester City to win and both teams to score

Manchester City carried on their fine scoring form as they blew Brighton away in the first half on Saturday. Clinical and swift on the break they sliced through an open defence time and again and their finishing was largely excellent. The scary thing is Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez and Fernandinho didn’t start that match and may therefore get a start here along with John Stones, Cole Palmer and a few others.

West Ham secured another home win at the weekend, edging out Spurs. They’ve been superb at home under David Moyes so it’s not going to be a stroll for City. It’s likely to be a mix of first XI players and players on the periphery, however all players should be match fit given the volume of games the Hammers have played so far.

You have to favour the visitors here though even though the hosts are strong at base. City smashed a decent Brighton side and are operating at a seriously high performance level at the moment. West Ham score at home though so I’ll chance the 21/10 on Manchester City to win and both teams to score.
