Everton vs Crystal Palace

This season in the Premier League, Mason Holgate has picked up seven yellows and one red card in 23 appearances. The straight red card he received against Tottenham was particularly impressive considering he had only been on the pitch eight minutes.

As relegation loomed large for his side, Holgate’s intensity increased, evident as he picked up five bookings in his last nine appearances.

If Frank Lampard opts for a back three, Holgate will likely be directly opposing Michael Olise. The Eagles winger is technically slick and has drawn the fourth most fouls of any player in Palace's squad.

Chelsea vs Leicester

Since moving to the English top flight, Welsley Fofana has accumulated seven cards in 32 league appearances, so, based on his cards per 90 average of 0.23 this price is a touch short.

Since returning for a long term absence though, the young French defender has struggled to get back up to speed. He has featured five times in the Premier League and been carded twice.

At Stamford Bridge he is expected to be opposing Romelu Lukaku. The all time Belgian top goalscorer struggles in London on and off the pitch have been well documented this season, however, there is no disputing his physicality and presence.

Wesley Fofana - 0.5pts @ 11/4

Port Vale vs Swindon Town

Swindon head to Vale Park with a one-goal advantage to protect. The reward, is a trip to Wembley for a shot at promotion to the third tier. Therefore, you would expect their XI will be doing everything within their powers to cling onto that advantage, whether that be within the parameters of the rules of the game or not, this is why I think taking the visitors' shot-stopper to be carded is worth a punt.

Lewis Ward only has one domestic card to his name in a career spanning 49 appearances. This is his third play-off campaign, though he is yet to head into a second leg with a lead to protect. Any time-wasting antics he tries will no doubt be brought to the attention of the referee by the home faithful.

Lewis Ward - 0.5pts @ 17/2
