Bristol City vs Luton

Both Teams to Score

Luton head to Ashton Gate on Tuesday in a fixture that promises to be rife with goals.

The visitors have only found the net once in their opening three games but have been desperately unfortunate, generating an xG of 3.97 and racking up an average of 15 shots per game which is the second highest total in the division.

As for the hosts, last season in the second tier, no side outside the playoffs scored more goals than Bristol City (62) who averaged 1.3 per game while only Peterborough and Reading conceded more times.

Their league games averaged 3.02 goals with just under two thirds of their games seeing over 2.5 goals click which includes 19 of their last 25 games.

Both teams have scored in each of their opening three fixtures which is why any suggestion that the Robins had tightened up defensively for this season was quickly dismissed.

Swansea vs Millwall

Swansea Draw No Bet

Millwall are two separated entities when playing at the Den compared to on their travels. Last campaign, only the two sides who finished in the automatic promotion spots, Fulham and Bournemouth, accumulated more points at home then the Lions; tally of 45.

Millwall struggled on the road though, only winning 21% of their games last campaign. Gary Rowett’s side averaged less than a goal a game failing to score in just under a third of those fixtures.

Last year, backing Draw No Bet on home teams against Millwall would have only seen you lose your stake in 12% of their away games which is why backing Swansea appeals here at 3/4.

Stoke vs Middlesbrough

Lewis Baker Anytime

Lewis Baker’s pedigree is indisputable, he is no doubt a player with Premier League quality currently plying his trade in the second tier.

Since joining the Potters, Baker has been a stand out performer epitomised by the fact that he now captains the side.

The midfielder has bagged himself nine goals in 24 appearances since joining last January averaging over three shots per game this season.

If you were to base his price to score against vs Middlesbrough purely off his goals per 90 average for Stoke (0.37), anything north of 2/1 would represent sufficient value. It also does not hurt that he is on set piece and penalty duty.
