14:30 - Borussia Monchengladbach v Union Berlin

Union Berlin are being sucked deeper and deeper into a relegation battle, and I’m backing Borussia Monchengladbach to beat them with under 4.5 goals in the match.

The visitors have only scored 33 times this season, and have looked fairly underwhelming since returning to action, although holding on with 10 men against Mainz will give them a much-needed boost.

25 of Union’s 28 games this season have seen fewer than five goals, while for Gladbach it’s 23, and while the hosts only mustered a draw against struggling Werder Bremen last time out, they’re a side full of talent, and for a low-key win against a relegation battling side, it’s definitely worth taking the price on offer.

17:00 - Paderborn v Borussia Dortmund

After their deflating defeat against Bayern, I’m also backing Dortmund to win and under 4.5 goals in the game.

Paderborn are a tough side who have been fairly resolute at the back since the league’s resumption, and while it’ll take a herculean effort to survive from here, they’ll not make it easy for any opposition team going forward.

70% and 71% of Paderborn and Dortmund games respectively have seen under 4.5 goals, and while Dortmund should ultimately have too much firepower for Paderborn, I’d be surprised if they had things all their own way on Sunday.
