Crystal Palace v Man City - Saturday 15:00

Alan Pardew finds himself under pressure once more at Selhurst Park following a late defeat to Burnley, leaving Palace just one point above the relegation zone and five games without a win, having lost each of the last four. They’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 16, so against a dangerous Man City side there could be plenty of goals. Six of Palace’s last eight have seen at least three strikes, with five having four or more. Whilst Man City should dominate here, Pardew’s side have only failed to score once in their last nine and they missed a penalty in that game.

Man City were on the receiving end of a late goal prior the international break against Middlesbrough, leaving Guardiola’s side with just a solitary win in their last five top-flight outings. Both teams have scored in 11 of their last 14 matches, and they’ve kept only one clean sheet in their last eight away games, suggesting Palace will have opportunities to find the net. The Citizens have the quality to fend off Pardew’s team though, and we think Man City/both teams to score at 3.0 represents decent value.

The Eagles have lost the first half in each of their last six matches, but have only lost the second period in one of these games. Interestingly, Man City have drawn the second half in their last six matches against teams in the bottom-six where they led at the break. We like the second-half draw at 3.0, with City likely to ease up as they think ahead to their midweek Champions League match.
