Palermo v Lazio – Sunday 11:30, BT Sport 1
Palermo have lost their last six games and sit just two points clear of the bottom of the table, so the visit of fourth-placed Lazio (who are undefeated in their last eight) could hardly have come at a worse time. Roberto De Zerbi will be aware that his position as Palermo manager is looking less secure with every passing loss, but Lazio’s spirited performances in the league to date will make it hard for the Rosanero to secure any points at all.
The problem for Palermo seems to be holding on in tight games. They have taken the lead in three of the six straight losses they have accrued recently, but they have repeatedly conceded late on, including six after the hour mark in their last four games. They go into this game with a lengthy long-term injury list, and Ilija Nestorovski (who has scored four goals across the six-game losing stretch) is a fresh doubt. Lazio have not played any bottom-six teams away this season, but their two home fixtures against bottom-six teams resulted in 2-0 and 3-0 wins (against Empoli and Pescara respectively), so they will be in an ebullient mood ahead of Sunday’s clash.
With Palermo’s lead goalscorer seemingly struggling with injury and the team lacking confidence at the back, we think they’ll struggle to score against a confident Lazio outfit. We think 3.05 for a Lazio win to nil is value.£10 Free Credit and a £500 Deposit Bonus
