Thursday's biggest bets come from The Barclays, Racing, the Bundesliga and the Belgian GP.
Keegan Bradley tops Thursday's list of big bets with one punter whacking £500 on Bradley to finish in the top 20 at The Barclays. We’d have to say this looks a good bet as Bradley features in our tips for the week.
In second place it’s off to the races with a £450 stake on Coopers Friend to win the 18:00 at Sedgefield. He’s currently the 11/4 favourite ahead of Mille Nautique and Val Darc, and we’ve got our fingers crossed that the 7-year-old will do the business.
With the Belgian Grand Prix sure to entertain this weekend, we’ve seen a £320 bet on Nico Rosberg to win the race. With Lewis Hamilton’s grid demotion ‘likely’ on the back of using too many engine parts, Nico Rosberg is the odds on favourite at 8/11.
The Barclays begins this afternoon UK time and one Oddschecker user has put £300 on Paul Casey to be the top Englishman. With Justin Rose, Paul Casey and Luke Donald the only Englishmen in the field, Casey is the 7/2 second-favourite behind Rose.
Lastly, the Bundesliga gets underway tomorrow with more games over the weekend and we’ve seen one £250 bet on Dortmund to beat Mainz in their season opener on Saturday. Dortmund are best-price 3/8 to win at home.
