If Paradise Cuba breaks, it should be race over. The Richard Baker trained dog has a tendency to be slowly away before showing terrific early pace to the bend. Given there’s every chance the inside traps will hold each other up, whilst Paradise Cuba should get a solo out wide, this one looks to have a cracking chance.

It’s worth taking a chance on Garryglass Zara at the prices. The sole wide seed could get the run of the race, has the best time on the clock, finished only 5l behind the Prestige Final favourite in a recent trial, and put in a cracking effort at Crayford back on the 9th of January. Everything points to a big run.

The big question is whether anything can stop Fizzypop Buddy? The short answer is no. The St Ledger sensation has by far the best time on the clock from the qualifying heats, with his closest rival being Wiki Waki Woo who he beat by three lengths. Provided the orange-jacketed runner avoids any early bother this should be an easy victory for the June Harvey kennel.
