Park Pakenham R3 No.1 - CERUTTY

Thought he was good over the 2000m at Cranbourne a week ago, got to them a touch too soon and was beaten by one competitive around much better horses. Like the quick back-up and the claim from B.Stockdale seems to have him in well relative weights. Shouldn't have any issues with the trip and can be off and gone at the bend while key rival needs to make ground.

Thought this fella was excellent on a day when it was difficult to make ground at Sandown three weeks ago, his final 400m split of 22.52 was second quickest of the race which suggests the 1400m should suit. Blinkers go back on which says to me they might be a touch more positive from the wide draw, no weight with the claim from Maskiell!

Wangaratta R5 No.1 - STREET STALKER

In races like this, winning form is good form and this old boy has exactly that! Was a very tough effort when leading all the way at Kilmore over 1100m two weeks ago. They ran an ok relative time for the day and the fact he comes into this race where there looks a distinct lack of pace/dropping back to 1000m he very well may run them off their legs. Pattern often suits those closest to the fence here at Wang so he looks a genuine EW player at the odds.
