CHASE THE WIND (best price 15/2)
turned in an exemplary round of jumping when making all the running at Wetherby last time out and racing around a track that complements his style of running, Joanna Foster’s charge can prove difficult to peg back. Previously with Warren Greatrex, the son of Spadoun has clearly benefitted for the change of scenery and providing he doesn’t get into a protracted dual for the lead with the other potential front-runner in the race, Alderbrook Lad, the in-form, bold-jumping seven-year-old has a great chance of following up that victory 26 days ago.

KINGLAMI (best price 16/1)
may have only beaten one horse home over today’s C&D last time out, but that finishing position doesn’t tell the whole story and he’s worth another chance returning back to the scene of a course where his form reads read 3121215 if you take away that blob on his card. Although it was difficult to say with any degree of accuracy where he would have eventually finished here 38 days ago, it’s probably fair to suggest he would have had a say in the final outcome with a clear run and with that in mind, odds of 16/1 look a very big price for John O’Shea’s charge running off the same mark which saw him take this prize twelve months ago.

ISABELLA LIBERTY (best price 5/1)
and JOSEPHINE MARCUS (best price 13/2)
thrashed out the finish to a strongly-run mares only handicap at Sligo last week and the pair are fancied to play a significant role in this similar prize seven days on. The former is clearly in excellent heart at present and did extremely well to run down Noel Meade’s charge having been given plenty to do with only two to jump. Prior to that game victory, Gordon Elliot’s inmate had proven her liking to tonight’s C&D with a smooth victory under totally contrasting ground conditions and with this contest likely to be run at a decent gallop, the daughter of Soldier Of Fortune can make a bold attempt at completing her hat trick. The latter simply has to be a major contender given she was the only one to push Isabella Liberty in the closing stages of that strongly run affair at the Connaught venue and she is also worth playing in a split stakes strategy against the field.
Isabella Liberty - 1pt @ 5/1
Josephine Marcus - 1pt @ 13/2
REBEL CRY (best price 4/1)
and LIBERTY'S GIFT (best price 5/1)
both arrive here in excellent shape following recent wins and they are worth playing against the field based on their current wellbeing. The former bounced back to his best form over tonight’s C&D last time out and with the time figure of that race suggesting it was a very useful performance by Paul Flynn’s inmate, the eight-year-old looks poised for another bold display. The latter also clocked a smart time when landing a competitive handicap chase at Roscommon last time and he has to come into the argument judged on that effort. Even though that victory came over 2m 5f, the son of Gamut has plenty of solid form over the minimum trip and the faster they go, the better his chances increase.
Rebel Cry - 1pt @ 4/1
Liberty's Gift - 1pt @ 5/1
