A quick look at the best-backed horses of the day.
Flying Bear has been all the rage to land the opening 5f sprint handicap at Doncaster this evening. Jeremy Gask's speedster is as short as 9/4 in places (3/1 elsewhere) having opened up 5/1 overnight.
Buster Dan Dan has received similar support to Flying Bear, having been backed from 5/1 into 3/1 ahead of the 4.30pm at Killarney.
Our tipster Andy Holding has a NAP at Killarney today in the form of Time For Mabel in the 3.30pm contest. According to Holding, Edward O’Grady’s charge has been in rattling good form of late, under both codes, and should go well following a confidence-boosting success at Limerick 11 days ago.
Despite the NAP shout for Feed The Goater from Holding, there has been strong support for Hollywood Road in the 2.40pm at Chepstow. With Jim Crowley on board the price has had a small shift from 7/2 to 5/2.
Despite not yet having a win to his name, Haraz is being heavily backed to open his account 4.40pm at Hamilton. He has shortened from 11/10 to 5/6 while there has also been significant movement in the opening maiden (2.10pm) at Chepstow.
Singula has been backed at all rates down from 11/1 to 11/4 and Alan King's once-raced colt looks set to go off favourite.
