First up is Brian Ellison's runner NIETZSCHE. Successful twice at 1m 2f on good to soft and soft ground, the 3yo was a close fourth over that distance at Ayr when sent off the 3/1fav. It appears punters are expecting today's step up in trip to suite and have backed him in from 11/2 last night to a general 11/4 chance.
Over at Kempton there has been money for DUCISSA. A well-bred filly, she showed ability on her recent C&D debut when finishing 7l behind the eventual winner at odds of 25/1. The market clearly believes she will improve from that outing with the 3yo now a best priced 5/1 from 11's yesterday evening.
Finally it's to Stratford where SPECTATOR makes his NH debut for trainer Tim Vaughan. The five-year-old won three times on the Flat for Andrew Balding and, if putting in a clear round of jumping on his first start over timber, could go close. As big as 9/2 on first showing, the 5yo is now the 5/2 favourite.
Next on the list is GOADBY. The 5yo has not been at her best recently but is a three-time winner and this race looks easier than those she has been competing in of late. 12/1 with some firms last night, she's now favourite for the race and as short as 7/2 in places.
