Oddschecker tips for every race at Dundalk this Friday.
Dundalk 17:30 Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Median Auction Maiden
ANDESH has finished second in two very competitive maidens and that form gives this son of Medicean a leading chance. Man Power is another whose form is rock-sold and he should be capable of winning a race of this nature sometime soon. The rest with experience need to improve to beat the aforementioned pair but any market support for the newcomer Antonio Carnicero would have to be noted.
Prediction: 1st Andesh, 2nd Man Power, 3rd Antonio Carnicero
Dundalk 18:00 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Median Auction Maiden
SHALAILAH has hit the crossbar on multiple occasions and this is an ideal opportunity for the daughter of Showcasing to break her maiden tag at the sixth attempt. Adaliya was disappointing when behind the selection last time out but her turf form prior to that gives the filly a leading chance. Bring On The Band, Rise Over Cloud and Twin Taps are some interesting newcomers.
Prediction: 1st Shalailah, 2nd Adaliya, 3rd Twin Taps
Dundalk 18:30 Irishinjuredjockeys.com Apprentice Handicap
SHEISDIESEL has a very good record at this track and she outran odds of 25-1 to finish third over C&D earlier in the month. The three-year-old won over 1m here in February and there is every chance that she can add another victory to her record. Beau Satchel won well here last week and another good run can be expected despite an 8lb rise in the ratings. Others to consider are Captain Cullen and Mo Henry.
Prediction: 1st Sheisdiesel, 2nd Beau Satchel, 3rd Mo Henry
Dundalk 19:00 Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Package Handicap
Admodum has won both of his starts this year and this progressive four-year-old cannot be discounted despite arriving here on a career high mark. GEOLOGICAL bounced back to form when finishing second in a conditions race here late last month and he has a big chance even from top weight. Atlas has been progressive on the Flat this year and he also makes the shortlist.
Prediction: 1st Geological, 2nd Admodum, 3rd Atlas
Dundalk 19:30 Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Handicap
Coffee maybe wearing the white cap suggesting he is the JP McManus first string, but it may be best siding with the 'on paper' second string CARRIED. The course and distance winner offered encouragement when fourth here last time and he should but spot on for this with jockeys championship-chasing Colin Keane in the plate. Ruby Gates has disappointed of late but can't be dismissed, while Hague Convention could be dangerously placed near the foot of the handicap.
Prediction: 1st Carried, 2nd Hague Convention, 3rd Ruby Gates
Dundalk 20:00 Al Basti Equiworld Carlingford Stakes (Listed)
Aidan O'Brien holds a strong hand here with course and distance winners De Coronado and Long Island Sound both holding leading claims. The latter is of particular interest if able to recapture the form of his three victories at the venue last year. However, it could be son Joseph who spoils the Ballydoyle party here with his JAQEN H'GHAR, who has been showing signs of improvement on his last few starts at this venue. A course winner, he clearly enjoys the synthetic surface and it would be no surprise if he strikes.
Prediction: 1st Jaqen Hghar, 2nd Long Island Sound, 3rd De Coronado
Dundalk 20:30 Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap (45-65) (Div 1)
Kevin Manning takes over the steering on SNAP CLICK who has hit the frame on his last few starts and is sure to be on the premises once again here. Quiet Company was a winner here over a mile last time and must come into the reckoning if bringing the same form to the table over further, while a drop in trip could see Crown Pleasure go one better than her second at this venue last time.
Prediction: 1st Snap Click, 2nd Quiet Company, 3rd Crown Pleasure
Dundalk 21:00 Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap (45-65) (Div 2)
BEN RUMSON was a likeable winner over further here last time and looks set for a bold showing once again if arriving in the same mood. A 5lb rise brings others into the equation, however, and on that basis Glimmer Of Hope has to be considered having shown improvement when placing here last time. Jock Talk and Mohayyen are others to consider.
Prediction: 1st Ben Rumson, 2nd Glimmer Of Hope, 3rd Mohayyen
