Leopardstown Sunday 13:50 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (Plus 10)
FOREVER TOGETHER caught the eye when staying on into fourth on debut at Naas and she can be expected to improve for that run. Julienne is another who should progress from her first racecourse experience, while there are plenty of interesting newcomers, headed by Magic Wand, who is a Galileo half-sister to Chicquita. Contingent is by Frankel and out of a Group 1-winning mare, and Alghabrah is a half-sister to to Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Awtaad.
Prediction: 1st Forever Together, 2nd Julienne, 3rd Magic Wand
Leopardstown Sunday 14:20 Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Maiden (Plus 10)
JAMES COOK is a full-brother to Found and he ran well to finish second on his racecourse debut at Naas last month. Given how Ballydoyle juveniles usually improve for a run, the son of Galileo should be hard to beat. Meagher's Flag was a bit disappointing last time out but he has a big chance based on his previous efforts. Marlborough Sounds showed promise on his introduction and could make the frame, while Cypress Creek was behind the selection on debut but it is far too soon to be writing off this full-brother to Capri.
Prediction: 1st James Cook, 2nd Meaghers Flag, 3rd Marlborough Sounds
Leopardstown Sunday 14:55 Irish Injured Jockeys Nursery Handicap (Plus 10)
Things have not gone to plan for BARONESS since she made an encouraging debut at the Curragh back in July. On her next start, the daughter of Declaration Of War was inconvenienced by soft ground and she struggled after a hefty bump at the start last time. Sebastiano Ricci only found one too good in a similar event at Cork last week and another good run can be expected, while Dragon Girl has a solid each-way chance.
Prediction: 1st Baroness, 2nd Sebastiano Ricci, 3rd Dragon Girl
Leopardstown Sunday 15:30 Killavullan Stakes (Group 3)
It was not the strongest of Listed races that Bye Bye Baby won at Navan recently but it proved that she is in good form and she should be in the mix. However, LANDSHARK only found the subsequent Middle Park/Dewhurst winner U S Navy Flag too good in a Group 3 at the Curragh in August and a reproduction of that effort would make him very hard to beat. The rest need to improve to be successful but maiden winners Dramatically, Kenya and Mcmunigal are all entitled to progress.
Prediction: 1st Landshark, 2nd Bye Bye Baby, 3rd Mcmunigal
Leopardstown Sunday 16:00 Trigo Stakes (Listed)
CANNONBALL arrives on the back of a career best when runner-up to the highly progressive Detailed at Limerick earlier in the month and the son of Lope De Vega looks to have been found a good opportunity to land a black type contest. Glamorous Approach's form has slightly tailed off but the drop in trip is certainly in her favour, while Song Of Namibia has been in good heart of late and must be respected.
Prediction: 1st Cannonball, 2nd Glamorous Approach, 3rd Song Of Namibia
Leopardstown Sunday 16:30 Yulong Trophy Handicap
TITUS has been given a break after failing to beat a rival home at Gowran back in June and appeals as being fairly handicapped off an opening mark of 90. Gold Spinner has been running well of late without getting his head in front but has Sean Davis taking 7lb off, which will definitely assist his cause. Plough Boy and Avalanche complete the shortlist.
Prediction: 1st Titus, 2nd Gold Spinner, 3rd Plough Boy
Leopardstown Sunday 17:00 Club Godolphin Student Initiative Handicap
THE LAST INDIAN has been in excellent form over a variety of distances and the step up to 1m4f may not prove enough to stop this progressive daughter of Captain Rio. Giorni Felice was below par on his last start behind Mustajeer but this looks a much less competitive race. Harvey Specter is worthy of consideration, along with Slaney Street.
Prediction: 1st The Last Indian, 2nd Giorni Felice, 3rd Harvey Specter
Leopardstown Sunday 17:30 Corinthian Challenge Charity Race Series
BRUTAL is the highest rated by some distance on the Flat and this looks a lovely opportunity to give his owner Sheikh Fahad another winner in the saddle. Emperor Waltz and Veinard head the list of dangers if the selection happens to underperform.
Prediction: 1st Brutal, 2nd Emperor Waltz, 3rd Veinard
