Oddschecker tips for every race at Bangor on Wednesday
12.40 Supporters Of Racing Welfare Sir John Hanmer Trophy (Handicap Chase)
AGAMEMMON was making his seasonal and stable debut when finishing second at Huntingdon last month and he should be very hard to beat off the same mark this afternoon. Truckers Highway won well at Worcester late last month and he has an obvious chance once again today, despite a 5lb rise in the ratings. Barton Rose may be a touch high in the ratings to win today but this likeable mare should be in the mix.
Prediction: 1st Agamemmon, 2nd Truckers Highway, 3rd Barton Rose
13.10 Yorton Stallions Mares' Novices' Chase (Listed)
A very competitive contest but the preference has to be for RENE'S GIRL, who beat Dusky Legend by 11 lengths at Worcester last month and that pair meet on the same terms today. The Nipper is a very talented mare and she bumped into a useful gelding when filling second place on her chase debut at Wetherby recently. Lady Buttons is another with claims, while Mariah's Legend needs to improve to be successful today.
Prediction: 1st Renes Girl, 2nd The Nipper, 3rd Dusky Legend
13.45 Anne Duchess Of Westminster Memorial Handicap Chase
POTTERS LEGEND made the frame in some very competitive handicap chases last season and he is arguably the one to beat today. Sir Mangan makes his first chase appearance since April 2015 and he has to be given chance today based on his hurdles form in 2017. Actinpieces should remain competitive despite a 5lb rise for her recent Fakenham victory, while Dusky Lark has to be noted given his consistency.
Prediction: 1st Potters Legend, 2nd Sir Mangan, 3rd Actinpieces
14.20 Pertemps MPS Novices' Hurdle
IF THE CAP FITS created a very strong impression when bolting up on his hurdles debut at Exeter having shown real promise in bumpers last season and should prove capable of defying a penalty here. Demon D'aunou is the other top weight and he is respected on his Market Rasen success, while Commodore is one to watch on his first start for Venetia Williams.
Prediction: 1st If The Cap Fits, 2nd Demon Daunou, 3rd Commodore
14.50 Rea Valley Tractors Handicap Hurdle
Midnight Tour ended last season on a high when bolting up against her own sex in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham's April meeting and a 12lb rise in the weights looks more than fair. Alan King has his string in good form at present but she returns from a break and preference is for DASHING OSCAR as he only went up 4lb for beating Diable De Sivola at Fontwell. Cool Sky and Loverboy complete the shortlist.
Prediction: 1st Dashing Oscar, 2nd Midnight Tour, 3rd Cool Sky
15.20 Pertemps Network Juvenile Maiden Hurdle
Alan King is a trainer who has a fine record with juvenile hurdlers and he looks to have a decent prospect in the shape of PAGEBURG. An impressive winner on the Flat in France back in April, he will have been well schooled in the lead up to his British debut and could easily prove a cut above the opposition. Erick Le Rouge is a half-brother to the former smart chaser Ornais and is respected along with Snookered.
Prediction: 1st Pageburg, 2nd Erick Le Rouge, 3rd Snookered
15.55 Gaskells Maiden Hurdle
EVERYBODY'S TALKIN won a point-to-point on his third start at Lisronagh and was subsequently bought for 65,000 pounds. His pedigree suggests he will be a stout stayer and he can prove capable of making a winning start to his Rules career. Benechenko appreciated a step up in trip when second to the potentially smart White Moon and is respected along with Moteuka and Shannon Bridge.
Prediction: 1st Everybodys Talkin, 2nd Benechenko, 3rd Motueka
