We take a look at the three biggest market movers through Oddschecker this morning.
We start at Carlisle, where BLACK SALT opened at 33/1 last night but that price has long gone. Best priced at 12/1, there is clearly reason to believe amongst punters that David Barron’s four-year-old can build on last month’s run at Doncaster. He’s been dropped another 2lb and performs much stronger over 7 furlongs. Barron has also had a 25% win ratio in the last 14 days and his horses clearly cannot be ignored at the moment.
EMARAATY in the penultimate race at Newmarket has been backed in from 6/1 into as short as 7/2, although 9/2 is currently still available. He arguably opened up at such a big price because of his disappointing run last time out at Royal Ascot, but judged on his previous form, he is a force to be reckoned with. His previous performance at Goodwood off top weight saw him a close second in a field of 16 and the three-year-old can bounce back today.
DAVIDS CHARM over at Leopardstown tonight has been well-supported, opening at 9/4 but now as short as 10/11. However, 5/4 is still available with certain bookmakers. He finished behind Tornado Watch last time out but has previously won a Grade A handicap, which gives him every chance of reversing the form in this finale.
