Oddschecker tips for every race at Epsom on Thursday.
DUBAI LEGACY beat a decent field first time out at Doncaster (third won impressively next time) and he was by no means disgraced in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot 17 days later, getting within seven and a half lengths of the potentially top-class Calyx. The application of a hood will hopefully keep a lid on him during the preliminaries and early part of the race, and he is fancied to land the spoils. Napanook is the obvious danger with two encouraging efforts under his belt, while 130,000-euro purchase Cool Reflection might prove best of the remaining trio. Prediction : 1st Dubai Legacy 2nd Napanook 3rd Cool Reflection
JUNEAU has been in cracking form and won well enough on her latest outing at Haydock last week to suggest that she can defy a 6lb penalty. Bossiney Bay is a filly that has been steadily improving and the form of her third-placed finish in a classified stakes event at Doncaster looks strong with the second winning subsequently. She is likely to give a good account on her handicap debut, while Berkshire Spirit also merits consideration following his narrow defeat on a similar undulating track at Brighton. Prediction : 1st Juneau 2nd Bossiney Bay 3rd Berkshire Spirit
RAVEN BANNER trounced her four rivals when equipped with first-time cheekpieces at Doncaster and, with the headgear on again, she might be able to follow up off this 12lb higher mark. There are some serious dangers, however, with other last-start scorers Ashazuri and Dangerous Ends topping the list. The former has won two of her last three starts and looks sure to be in the firing line again, while Dangerous Ends will put up a good fight if arriving in the same determined mood as when winning at Windsor. Prediction : 1st Raven Banner 2nd Ashazuri 3rd Dangerous Ends
MAN OF HARLECH appeared to benefit from the application of first-time cheekpieces (worn again) when scoring comfortably over 1m1f at Lingfield and, with a 4lb rise deemed fair, he is fancied to complete the double. Aquarium ran much better in class 3 company at Chelmsford last week than the finishing position suggests and he warrants respect dropped in class for his turf return, while past C&D scorer Corazon Espinado is no forlorn hope off bottom weight. Prediction : 1st Man Of Harlech 2nd Aquarium 3rd Corazon Espinado
ALEEF didn't get a clear run when dropped down to the minimum distance at Chelmsford on his most recent start and the return to 6f can see David O'Meara's gelding get his head back in front. His stable companion Highland Acclaim can benefit from the return to 6f having changed to front-running tactics on his latest start here last week when third, while Related has been in good form of late so warrants respect.Prediction : 1st Aleef 2nd Highland Acclaim 3rd Related
CAREYANNE has been in excellent form of late having won two of her last three starts and she improved for the step up to today's distance when winning at Leicester last time. Royal Hall has been in good form recently over hurdles and could translate that now back on the Flat, while Pour L'Amour was no match for Roy Rocket at Brighton last time but can prove to be competitive here.Prediction : 1st Careyanne 2nd Royal Hall 3rd Pour LAmour
