A round-up of the three most popular horses in the markets this morning.
First off at Salisbury, CARRIBEAN SPRING has seen the gamble of the day so far, going from an overnight price of 22/1 into a best price of 9/1. A three-time winner on the all-weather at a longer distance, it remains to be seen if the five-year-old can get it right at 6f.
Then over at Doncaster, ROYAL MARINE will look to justify the bets that have seen him go 3/1 best price after being 9/2 earlier. Oisin Murphy will be on board the horse that finished sixth on racecourse debut at Newmarket last month, but has stepped up in trip today.
Finally at Chester, STORM AHEAD is another betting favourite that has been solidly backed all morning, and is now 7/2 best price after starting off at 9/1. The five-year-old has been successful at this distance before on the all-weather and will look to transfer that form to the good-to-soft going.
