We reveal the three most backed horses on the third day at Aintree, including one in the Grand National.
MY DROGO is a very progressive runner here for Dan Skelton who is three from three over hurdles. His latest Grade 2 victory was very impressive, bolting up by nine lengths ahead of Do Your Job, who ran very well yesterday. This is his toughest assignment to date but the rapidly improving six-year-old is being well backed. Dan Skelton is in great form at the moment too.
THYME HILL arrives here fresh compared to a number of his rivals and punters think that will be to his advantage this afternoon. The seven-year-old narrowly lost to Paisley Park in a thrilling Long Walk Hurdle but had beaten him earlier in the season. Paisley Park could well still be feeling the effects of a tough race at Cheltenham so Thyme Hill is making more appeal.
MAGIC OF LIGHT was a close second in the 2019 Grand National and is being strongly supported by oddschecker users. The mare ran a brilliant race two years ago at a huge price and plenty think she will give a similar showing today. She wasn’t at her best last time out at Cheltenham but you imagine this will have been the aim for a long time.
