We reveal the three most backed horses on the second day of Royal Ascot 2021.
Duke Of Cambridge Stakes
Ascot 2021: Where is the money going?
LADY BOWTHORPE is drifting in the market but that isn’t putting punters off backing the five-year-old mare. She ran a brilliant race in the Lockinge last time out behind Palace Pier, who won the Queen Anne yesterday. That was a career best; she just keeps on improving. That’s arguably the best piece of form on offer in this race and punters are lapping up her 10/3 price tag.
Prince Of Wales's Stakes
ARMORY won the Group 2 Huxley Stakes impressively at Chester in May and punters are backing the colt to get the better of stablemate Love in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes. He ran respectably in all four of his Group 1 efforts last season but looks to have taken a step forward this term. Love had an incredible season last year, but having not been seen since last August, oddschecker users are siding with the second-favourite.
Kensington Palace Stakes
DREAMLOPER has been very well backed in the last race of the day by oddschecker users. The four-year-old filly was unlucky to lose at Ascot last month. She kept on well in the closing stages but just couldn’t get past Lights On. They face each other again today, and punters think Dreamloper will overturn the form. The ground is in Dreamloper’s favour here and Ed Walker is in great form. She’s strongly fancied to add to her victory at this track last September.
