We reveal the three most backed horses on the final day of Royal Ascot 2021.
POINT LONSDALE was very impressive on debut at the Curragh earlier this month. Aidan O’Brien’s two-year-old bolted up by five lengths, putting the race to bed with ease. He currently heads the betting for next year’s 2000 Guineas and punters fancy him to confirm his talent with a victory in today’s Chesham Stakes. Aidan O’Brien has a strong record in the race and Point Lonsdale is expected to continue that this afternoon.
HUKUM won at Royal Ascot last year and is fancied to produce another big performance today. The four-year-old won a Listed contest last time out at Goodwood on soft going which stands him in good stead for today. He will have no issue with the trip and punters think he’s good enough to land this Group 2 contest.
Diamond Jubilee Stakes
DREAM OF DREAMS is being well backed to finally land the Diamond Jubilee on his third attempt, having been beaten by a head in his last two efforts. The seven-year-old is now the favourite following the withdrawal of Starman. His comeback run at Windsor last month showed he still remains in fine form. He should handle the testing ground conditions and has a very good chance at finally winning the race.
