Gordon Elliot-trained Tiger Roll is being overwhelmingly backed for the Cross County Chase.
A whopping 61% of ante post bets in the last 24 hours have been placed on the eight-year-old recapturing the kind of form he showed last year.
The dual Cheltenham winner also raced to glory in the October meeting, and is being fancied by trainer Elliot.
He said: “I think it has his name all over it, he went schooling over the cross country course at Cheltenham last week and went very well.
“All being well, he will take his chance and we would be expecting another big run from him.
Tiger Roll enters the race as a sizable second favourite best priced at 11/2, just behind another Elliot-trained entry in Cause of Causes who leads betting at 11/4.
Josies Orders (6/1), Auvergnat (8/1), The Last Samurai (8/1) and Bless the Wings are the other front runners for the contest.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Gordon Elliott has been very bullish when asked about Tiger Roll's preparation for Cheltenham, which has led to four bookmakers on Oddschecker cutting the odds of the eight year-old.
“He looks like he'll go off second favourite to Cause of Causes in a very competitive meet.”
