The All Blacks have lost just one of the last 16 games between the two countries
Australia v New Zealand - Saturday 11.00 Sky Sports
New Zealand will be looking to bounce-back from their drawn series with the Lions this weekend when they travel to Australia. The All Blacks are bolstered by the return of centre Sonny Bill Williams who returns from a 4 match ban for his tackle on Anthony Watson. New Zealand have lost just one of the last 16 games between the two countries, with that single loss coming 6 games ago, with the All Blacks winning the last 5 very comfortably.
The form of fly-half Bauden Barrett is another reason why New Zealand are such commanding favourites, the Hurricanes man was in sensational form in the three games against the Lions and although his goal kicking was suspect at times, his running, passing and kicking from hand were on a different level and at times proved to be far too good for the tourists.
Australia have Kurtley Beale back in their ranks and is set to make his first appearance since the 2015 World Cup Final. He is one of five changes in the Australian side from their last outing and Coach Michael Cheika will hope that his Wallabies side can put an end to their losing streak against their rivals. Despite this, it’s hard to see anything other than a New Zealand win.
It is also hard to see anyone taking the Rugby Championship crown away from New Zealand this year, and a punt on them to lift the trophy for the 5th time in 6 years would be a good one.
