As the weekend approaches the forecasters have predicted some sun, and temperatures are set to match that of cities such as LA. The Met Office has predicted that temperatures will rise to around 26 degrees this weekend, hitting a high of 28 early next week.
The bookies haven’t been slow to react either. Paddy Power have cut the odds on the highest temperature recorded in the UK during 2016 being 36 degrees or more to 5/4, and for the UK to have the warmest summer on record to 4/1.
Now we’ve got Wimbledon out the way, there’s every chance the rain will dry up. It’s a massive 10/1 that the UK has 30 or more consecutive days without rainfall.
