New England Patriots at Arizona Cardinals – Monday 01:30, Sky Sports 1
The New England Patriots are Tom Brady-less for their first ever visit to University of Phoenix stadium on Sunday, home of the Arizona Cardinals. Brady's much deserved four-game suspension handed down by the NFL seemed to rumble on forever this summer as he refused to accept his punishment and took them to court where his appeal was flatly denied.
As it is, the Pats will line up with Jimmy Garoppolo at QB and this has led to them getting a juicy looking +6 on the point spread. The Pats run a very QB friendly offense with quick release short passes over short distances and if Brady was playing the spread would be closer to scratch. Is supermodel Gisele's husband missing this game really worth a five point swing?
Over to Arizona and the Cards had a very good year last year finishing with a 13-3 record in the regular season before beating the Packers in the playoffs. The run to the Superbowl came to an abrupt end however with a 49-15 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Veteran QB Carson Palmer threw four interceptions that night and regression this year looks inevitable. .
