Eurovision Odds 2025

The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is just one day away as the continent's biggest party prepares to go ff in Basel, Switzerland.

Following singer Nemo's success with ‘The Code' in Sweden last year, all eyes are on St. Jakobshalle where the final will be taking place on Saturday, May 17.

The bookies are backing 2023 winners Sweden, along with Austria and France, to compete for the famous singing prize. It would be a record 8th Eurovision victory for the Swedes, who are currently joint first with Ireland on seven triumphs each.

With that in mind, here's all you need to know about Eurovision 2025, the participants and how best to bet on the competition, being broadcast live on BBC One.

Eurovision 2025 – Who is Favourite to Win?

It is not often that a nation wins Eurovision two times in three years, with Ireland in 1994 and 1996 the last country to do so, but that is what the bookmakers are currently backing as Sweden moves to the top of the odds grid.

In 2023, it was Loreen with her song 'Tattoo' that wowed judges and voters across the continent. This time it's pop group KAJ with ‘Bara Bada Bastu' that goes for glory in Switzerland.

The best odds you can get is currently 11/10 with BoyleSports on a Sweden victory.

Elsewhere, Austrian musician JJ is hoping to replicate Eurovision icon Conchita Wurst and bring glory to their nation with the song ‘Wasted Love.' Austria is currently 10/3 with AK Bets for victory.

France, Israel and the Netherlands are all close contenders as well in Basel. If you're hoping for a first United Kingdom victory since 1997 then you might be waiting a little longer. Some bookmakers have Remember Monday with ‘What the Hell Just Happened?' out as long as 125/1 with SpreadEx and Sporting Index.

The Best Bookmakers to Bet on Eurovision 2025

As expected, a whole host of bookmakers are offering extensive odds on the outright winners. However, some bookmakers are going even further with their selection of markets for you to choose from.

As you will see below, many bookmakers also dish out odds on specific regions, ensuring there's more to play for than just the outright winner.

Top Balkan, Nordic, Baltic, as well as the Big Five (France, Spain, UK, Italy, Germany) are just some of the alternative markets you can bet on. Find out more below about each of the best Eurovision bookmakers.

Betfred

Betfred have one of the strongest offers on the market and have geared their traditional sign up offer towards the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland.

Providing an extensive offering on the continental competition, Betfred is giving you £50 free bets when you sign up.

All you have to do is join the bookmaker and bet £10 on Eurovision this week and those free bets will be yours within 10 hours of settling.

Paddy Power

Paddy Power have never been shy from offering a novelty market or two and they're on the best around when it comes to betting on the Eurovision Song Contest.

New customers can get £30 in free bets when they sign up and spend £5 on Eurovision, and there are plenty of markets to choose from.

Offering out four places on each-way bets, Paddy Power is also giving odds on the semi-finals, top 10 finish and the previously mentioned regions. We anticipate Paddy Power to also have a host of special odds closer to the occasion.

William Hill

William Hill has a healthy number of betting markets for you to choose from to give you the biggest chance of winning over the three nights of action.

As well as a host of markets, William Hill also has its #YourOdds section, providing even further details and selected odds for a number of scenarios. For example, you can get 11/4 on Norway, Iceland, and Belgium all to qualify.

If you're new to William Hill, you can get £60 in free bets when you sign up and spend £10 on sporting markets, including Eurovision.

Betfair

Betfair Sportsbook is giving away £50 in free bets to new customers when they spend £10 on Eurovision, one of the most generous sign up offers around.

The bookmaker also delivers plenty of markets to choose from, from the semi-finals, right the way to top 5 or top 10 places.

Sky Bet

Sky Bet is already delivering an odds boost for the Eurovision Song Contest. Those that sign up to Sky Bet can get £30 in free bets, just for spending 5p on the Eurovision Song Contest.

The bookie is boosting Sweden to win the content from 5/6 to 10/11, some of the best odds around.

BoyleSports

Lastly, BoyleSports has some of the best outright odds around and will likely have special odds and markets closer to the event.

You can get £30 in free bets when you sign up to BoyleSports, just for spending £10 on a host of markets, which includes the singing competition in Switzerland.

Eurovision Semi-Finals: Who Qualified for the Final?

In order to reach the final, nations must take part in the semi-finals, which have taken place this week in order to determine the final 26 nations.

The United Kingdom, along with France, Italy, Spain, Germany and hosts Switzerland, automatically qualify for the final, so were able to watch on as the remaining countries battled it out.

In the first semi-final, Sweden's KAJ performed its song Bara Bada Bastu, an ode to sauna culture, to the love of the Swiss crowd and sailed through to the final event.

Joining the competition favourites in the final Norway, Albania, Iceland, Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal and Ukraine.

Semi-final 2 followed the same format, with 10 nations going through to Saturday's finale and six nations going home early.

Latvia, Armenia, Austria, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Denmark, Luxembourg, Israel and Finland all progressed.

It was not to be for the likes of Ireland or Australia, who will have to go again in 2026.

Do the Bookmakers Get it Right Every Year?

While the bookmakers tend to be close to the mark, they haven't always been nailed on when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2018, the bookmakers had a good year, backing Israel's Netta Barzilai for victory, who emerged victorious in Portugal.

A year on, and Duncan Laurence emerged victorious for the Netherlands, the bookmakers gave him a 20% chance of winning, the highest of any competitor.

But 2021 bucked the trend, with Malta's Destiny with Je Me Casse the favourite at 3/1, losing out to Italian rock band Maneskin.

However, the following years have fallen back in the bookmaker's favour. The winners of 2022, 2023 and 2024 were all tipped for the top.

With that in mind, could Sweden be making history tomorrow night?
