Even though we are starting to learn more about what an MLB season will look like this year, there are still a lot of unknowns surrounding it, especially when considering the 2020 MLB betting odds.

How will teams differentiate in how they use their starting pitchers and bullpen? What happens to a team if a star player tests positive for COVID-19 and is forced to sit out extended time with so few games on the schedule? Who will elect to skip the season all together?

Even with all those things still up in the air, oddsmakers are starting to release their win total lines for teams in the abbreviated 60-game season, and two of the biggest teams in the sport are starting with World Series aspirations.

According to DraftKings, the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers are predicted to be the two best teams in the league, with both their win totals set at a league-best 37.5 games.

Bettors seem to agree with the lofty expectations set by oddsmakers for both teams.

An eye-popping 86% of all wagers back the Yankees to go over 37.5 wins, while 85% of bettors are expecting the Dodgers to win at least 38 games.

If you think both teams will exceed expectations, you’re better off backing the Bronx Bombers.

The Yankees are +105 to break the 37.5-win threshold, while the Dodgers’ odds sit at -110 to do the same.
