Top 75 MLB Prospects: Ranking the Top 75 MLB Prospects After the Trade Deadline

It's time for a new list in the MLB. After the trade deadline, some top prospects ended up in different spots, which will ultimately either help or hurt their potential moving forward. Here are the top 75 prospects in the MLB after the trade deadline.

Top 75 Prospects in the MLB

1. Francisco Alvarez, C, Mets

Alvarez made the jump from AA to AAA earlier this season and although he started off slow in AAA, he's finally figuring it out. His raw power is going to take him far in the MLB. The Mets haven't even ruled out bringing him up this season.

2. Corbin Carroll, OF, Diamondbacks

Carroll has all the tools to be one of the best players in the MLB. He's just an all-around athlete. He's a great hitter and has tons of speed. If Carroll can get on at a high rate, he's going to be a nightmare for opposing pitchers.

3. Grayson Rodriguez, RHP, Orioles

Rodriguez has four pitches that will absolutely wow you. He's got a plus fastball, a wicked change, and a slider that's going to fool most batters. He's 6-5 and just continues to overwhelm the opposition.

4. Gunnar Henderson, INF, Orioles

Henderson isn't even the top Orioles prospect. That's how good the Orioles have it right now. Henderson has plenty of power and a great arm to throw across the diamond as a third baseman or a shortstop.

5. Gabriel Moreno, C, Toronto Blue Jays

We saw glimpses of Moreno earlier this year and will probably see him again very soon. Anyway, he's a guy who rarely strikes out and has a nice compact swing. With Alejandro Kirk playing so well, it'll be interesting to see how the Blue Jays go about their catching position in the near future.

6. Anthony Volpe, SS, Yankees

7. Marco Luciano, SS, Giants

8. Jordan Walker, 3B, Cardinals

9. Henry Davis, C, Pirates

10. Triston Casas, 1B, Red Sox

11. Brett Baty, 3B, Mets

12. Marcelo Mayer, SS, Red Sox

We won't see Mayer until at least 2024, but he's also an all-around player that can basically do everything above-average. Maybe he doesn't have wicked speed, but everything else is a plus for this kid.

18. Robert Hassell III, OF, Nationals

Hassell was just traded from the Padres to the Nationals in a package for Juan Soto. Hassell III has big shoes to fill, but he won't be thinking about that. He's an electric ball player who could pay dividends for the Nationals by 2024.

19. Jackson Jobe, RHP, Tigers

20. Eury Perez, RHP, Marlins

21. Max Meyer, RHP, Marlins

Meyer will be sidelined for a little bit after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He's going to fall down the rankings until he can get healthy again.
