Yankees World Series Odds: +500 (Bet $100 to win $500)
The New York Yankees for the first three months of the year were the best team in baseball. They were playing at a 120 win pace for the first bit of the season and finished the first half with a .696 win percentage. That began to change in July when they went just .500 and then August has been brutal as they are 9-16 for a .360 win percentage.
They've begun to turn it around again, at the right time, and they remain the most popular pick for the World Series with 14.3% of the bets. Giancarlo Stanton is back in the lineup but the injury bug is taking a toll. If this team is healthy in October, it's easy to see why they are such a popular pick.
Dodgers World Series Odds +350 (Bet $100 to win $350)
The Dodgers are the favorite to win the World Series in 2022. They already have 88 wins on the year and are up 19.5 games on the San Diego Padres in the National League West. The Dodgers have made the playoffs every year since 2013 and have a World Series title back in 2020.
Last year, after a 106-win regular season, they fell short in the NLCS to the Atlanta Braves. They've had a history of underachieving but this roster is just so good. Bettors will always like the favorite and this is just another example of that.
Mets World Series Odds +550 (Bet $100 to win $550)
The New York Mets are in an extremely tight race in the National League East with the Atlanta Braves. They have 82 wins, only one of three teams with 80+ wins, and they have only a 3-game lead because of how hot Atlanta has been.
Still, with a rotation that includes Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom it's hard not to like this team in a seven-game series. The bats at times can go a little up and down but Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso, and Jeff McNeil have done enough to carry them most nights.
