NBA Championship 2020: Warriors Favorite To Avenge Raptors Defeat
The book has been opened on next season’s NBA Championship, with the Golden State Warriors +600 favorites to lift the trophy.
The Los Angeles Lakers are their nearest challengers at +850, with the reigning Raptors and Houston Rockets next up at +900 and +1000 respectively.
At the other end of the market, the Phoenix Suns sit rock bottom with odds of +50000, meaning that a $5 bet would return $2500 if the unthinkable happened.
An interesting pick in the middle of the book is the Pelicans are deemed to be a relative long shot at +18000 – although the acquisition of a certain Zion Williamson in the draft could see their odds slashed.
