By this time in a normal, uninterrupted NBA season, we’d have already held the draft and last season’s amateur stars would know where they’d be spending the immediate future and building their careers.

This season, with play still paused, the future of those potential stars is still unclear, with the 2020 NBA Draft rescheduled for October 16.

Even so, the oddsmakers over at DraftKings have put together 2020 NBA Draft odds and have decided that former Georgia guard Anthony Edwards is the odds-on favorite to be selected first overall.

Edwards is currently -110 to be selected first come October, even without knowing which team will be on the clock, which implies a 52.4% chance he goes No. 1.

Edwards averaged 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game during his only season as a Bulldog

Right behind Edward is former Memphis forward James Wiseman. Wiseman played just three games at Memphis last season before being suspended and subsequently leaving school, but DraftKings has set his odds at +175 to go first.

Rounding out the top three is the most high-profile player in this year’s draft class, LaMelo Ball. DraftKings has him at +250 to be the first overall pick after he spent last season in Australia’s NBL.

If Edwards were to be taken first, he’d be the first University of Georgia player ever selected that high.
